How does developing mindfulness promote positive mental health?

Positive mental health is determined by a range of factors, and while it's impossible to control everything that happens around us, developing mindfulness can be a vital step in achieving greater happiness and a positive state of mind.

Why should you eat healthy foods with high energy frequency?

“If you want to discover the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla

We are not just a physical body. From a scientific point of view, we are a source of energy united by an energy field. Everything that contains energy vibrates; and the stronger the energy, the higher the frequency of that vibration. 1 High-frequency foods help us raise our natural energetic vibration. And in doing so, we are better able to connect with ourselves and clear our minds of negative thoughts. Foods that possess high vibrational energy include organic fruits, herbs, vegetables, and nuts. 2 On the other hand, low-frequency foods (such as meats, poultry, sugar, processed foods, chemically or genetically modified foods, and foods containing chemical additives) can cause health problems if consumed in large quantities.

Why is it important to stay well hydrated?

Dehydration leads to physical discomfort and can harm your mental health. 3 The human brain is made up of approximately 75% water. However, as soon as this level drops, circulation slows down, resulting in a slowdown in blood flow and oxygen delivery to the body. 4 Even mild dehydration is enough to impact our thoughts and emotions. If your mind isn't clear, it becomes difficult to achieve mindfulness and feel happy.

Why is physical activity vital for mental health?

There is evidence that physical activity and exercise may alleviate some symptoms related to a negative mood. Furthermore, scientific studies have shown that exercise can help improve self-image, social skills, and cognitive functioning, thereby reducing symptoms related to anxiety. 5 Go for a walk in the fresh air or go for a leisurely swim. You'll soon find that it's hard not to feel more positive afterwards.

Why is sleep so important?

Anyone who has ever suffered from a poor night's sleep will tell you that their brain wasn't at its best the next day. Lack of sleep can leave you feeling mentally drained, on edge, and unsettled in your surroundings. Aim for eight hours of sleep each night. 6 Set a goal to go to bed at the same time every night.

Try to wake up at the same time every morning (even on weekends!), and don't stare at your phone or other screens before bed, as these can keep your brain alert and prevent you from getting full rest.

How is the elevation of thought the key?

The Law of Attraction states that we receive what we put out into the world. 7 If you want to attract joy and happiness, you must deliberately adopt an attitude that conveys these messages. Don't dwell on what you don't want. Instead, focus on what you want from life. Set meaningful goals and aspire to make the most of each day.

How is altruism beneficial for mental health?

Doing a good deed for someone doesn't just benefit them; it can also benefit you. Connecting with people and taking the time to help them can create positive vibes and strengthen your sense of purpose and well-being. Helping others has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and improve mental and physical health, providing a sense of calm and well-being, while increasing levels of confidence , happiness, and optimism. Ultimately, by helping others, you can be happier and more fulfilled.

It's not possible to focus exclusively on your mindset to improve it. Different aspects of our lifestyle, including our physical health, can all contribute to achieving a positive mindset.
