The effects of EM ceramics on water

EM ceramics consist of clay fermented using EM microorganisms and fired at a very high temperature (700 to 1200°C) away from air (anaerobic). The firing process does not in any way affect the informative power. As a result, the multiple characteristics and information of the microorganisms, which can no longer escape from the clay, are preserved. This explains the long-lasting action EM ceramics which, when in contact with water, will produce the following effects:

• Reduction in the size of clusters (small aggregates of around ten to a hundred water molecules)
• Decrease in surface tension
• EM® Ceramics products work through the principle of resonance. They re-energize water , resulting in reduced oxidation, reduced unpleasant taste and improved water quality.

Household applications of EM ceramics

EM ceramic tubes can be reused as often as you like. It is recommended to use a few EM ceramic tubes:

• In bottles and drinking jugs filled with tap water, already filtered water and spring water.
• In jugs for hot water, tea or coffee and in kettles.
• In the bath water: a few EM tubes in a washcloth or other fabric pouch, or a bath ring.
• In the toilet flush tank and no more use of chemical disinfectant capsules.
• In water taps and shower heads.
• In the water used to water plants, flowers, etc.
• In the fruit basket for better preservation.

Dosage of EM ceramics in water

The longer the ceramic is immersed in water, the more effective it will be. Each EM ceramic tube measures 1.1 cm in length and 0.9 cm in diameter and can be used with the following dosages:

• Daily applications: 5 to 25 pieces.
• Drinking water: ≃ 10 tubes/litre of water (increase gradually if insufficient).
• Larger volumes, generally: 1 kg/1000 liters of water.
• For larger constant volumes of water (ponds, swimming pools) 1 to 2 kg of EM ceramic is used per 10 m3 (10,000 litres) of water volume.

Maintenance of EM ceramic tubes

EM ceramic tubes should be cleaned regularly (about once a month) to prevent film buildup.
For best results, immerse them in clean water, then brush them and rinse them again in clean water. You can also immerse them in boiling water for a few minutes.
Once cleaned, let the tubes air dry (ideally by exposing them to the sun).
EM ceramic tubes can thus be used for 10 years if they are not physically damaged.

Precautions

• EM ceramic tubes are not suitable for use in microwaves.
• EM ceramic tubes can be fragile. If a part is damaged, it is best to discontinue use.
• Damaged or at the end of their life, EM ceramic tubes can still be reused in the garden. They will then house microbiology and store the nutrients necessary for the healthy growth of plants.
• Small parts should be kept out of reach of children.
• The recommended quantities are given as a guide; they can be increased or reduced without risk.
